Majority Whip Dick Durbin is one of two US senators currently on a tour of Africa, scheduled to arrive in Southern Sudan on Thursday
Senators Richard J. Durbin and Sherrod Brown are on a tour of Africa to examine U.S foreign assistance programs in the continent relating to the global health, maternal/infant mortality, clean water, sanitation, refugee, and economic development activities.
Both Senators will meet Salva Kiir, the president of the Government of Southern Sudan.
