On behalf of the Awulian community in U.S.A, and in memory and observation of Jieeng (Dinka) traditional ninety days after the death of our beloved uncle Elijah Malokdit, we would like to inform the general public that a memorial service for him will be held in January 2015.
All members of Jieeng Bor, our invited guests/ friends, as well as all South Sudanese in the 50 States/North America are invited to join us as we mark the ninety days of his passing. We will be mourning and celebrating the life and legacy of this legendary man together.
The memorial service for the late Hon. Elijah Malok Aleng will be held in Des Moines, Iowa. The place and time are provided below.
Venue: Zion Lutheran Church

Date: Saturday, January 31st, 2015.
Time: 11:00am – 4:00pm.
