NSV 'under reporting Kapoeta incident' & NSV's response
Dear New Sudan Vision
I am appalled by your lack of response to let the world know about the current situation in Kapoeta. For the last four days, Kapoeta town has been going through hell. Innocent lives are taken by individuals who put national uniform only to wreak havoc on civilians. yet, your media hasn't reported about it. You only seem to be interested in other parts of Southern Sudan. Should I have faith in what you are reporting?
NSV: Dear Michael
First off, we thank you for being a loyal reader of NSV and for bringing this issue up for all to know and to do something about. Certainly, we are interested in all parts of Sudan and the problem here is not our unwillingness to report other areas but our inability to do so.
We encourage our readers to be our reporters when necessary because our region is starting from scratch, and the media is not an exception. For instance, two of our heroes, the late Philip Abbas Ghaboush and Samuel Abujohn Kabbashi just passed away recently, and we haven't done any report on them. Their case is a perfect example of how we wished to offer the honour these two personalities deserve but we have not done so so far because of lack of key information.
We sincerely stand for all Sudanese and be encouraged to contribute to NSV.
