  1. I.Friday, August 30, 2013: Community Leadership (County, Payam, Boma, States, Spiritual and elders) will sit for a Meeting: Here, the GBC leadership will give reports on progress, challenges to overcome and the way forward. The meeting time will be 7pm-12am. All the leadership mentioned about is strongly encouraged to attend. Thank you in advance for your commitment to the wellbeing of our community and nation.


II.Saturday, August 31, 2013: The General assembly or community at large will sit for a meeting. Community leaders, keynote speakers, elders and invited guests will give keynote addresses on several topics, i.e. social, economic, political, and cultural. Here, you will also hear reports on the GBC state of affairs from several GBC offices and the community chairperson’s speech (detailing how far we have come, the challenges we still face and the community vision for the future). The meeting time will be 9am-5pm. Thank you all in advance for your continued support to this leadership and your commitment to this community and our nation.


III.Saturday (continuation) After Meeting-Party: It is open to the public. NB: admission fee is $30.00 by the doors. It is also advisable that you take in with you an additional $10 to $20.00 in order to enjoy the party to the fullest. You will enjoy performances by Diing Bior, Malaak Geu, Yom Akuien; entertainment by Atem Ajith; cultural performances by different regional cultural groups; finally, music by South Sudanese musicians’ CDs. There will be light refreshments as well. It is all going to be a fun time; no talks, nothing less than funs. NB: All South Sudanese are invited to come. Dress to impress! The time will be 8pm-3am.


IV.Sunday, September 1, 2013: The Conference will end with Prayer Services and Awak (dance) at 4pm at a park. All proceeds go to the Greater Bor Community-USA, Inc for its operations and developmental projects.
