ascAjuong Sudanese Community, Inc, is a nonprofit organization based in USA that provides a learning opportunity to promote physical, social and emotional development in the lives of many children of South Sudan by inspiring, enlightening, and challenging students to learn, accomplish academic and social goals. The organization is pleased to announce the fundraising events to collect money for building a high school in South Sudan. The purpose of building a high school is to give children an opportunity to learn and to help them to develop self-confidence, raise their self-concept, and reduce their anxiety in enter the academic world. Twic East will also have a general meeting in the same venue.

The fundraising events will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2012 to Sunday, May 27, 2012 in Omaha, Nebraska, USA. The location of the events is the Old Lutheran Church School. The events are open to the public and will be attended by representatives from various communities and associations as well as church leaders. All members of Twic East, South Sudanese, and American friends are invited. It will be the biggest fundraising event ever hosted by Ajuong Community in the Unites States of America. We are expecting thousands of people to attend from all over. Information regarding the fundraising is as follows:

8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Ajuong Sudanese Community will have an annual meeting. Special discussions will be presented. At the RECEPTIONS, members will have an opportunity to meet relatives and friends.1:00 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.

Ajuong Sudanese Community Fundraising 2012 will begin. Doors are open to the general public at 12:30 p.m. The event is free to attend. Activities include speeches from special guests, performances from women, girls, and various groups, bul de jieng, photo booth — pictures come out within 20 minutes, sales of t-shirts and South Sudanese flags, drawings for GPSs, iPods, computers, and much more. There is a dance party at the end of fundraising.

Ajuong Sudanese Community Fundraising 2012 continues. Doors are open to the general public at 2:00 p.m. Bul de jieng will be one of the major activities on Sunday fundraising. The event ends at 2:00 a.m.

Parking is available in the school parking lots and residential streets. It is advisable that due to the high volume of participation those attending the SUNDAY event should park in residential streets prior to the event.
